In the crystal structure of the title compound, C 18 H 21 N 3 O 3 , the molecular conformation is stabilized by an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 3.97 (12)°. The nitro group is almost coplanar with the aromatic ring to which it is attached [dihedral angle = 6.3 (4)°].
