The title compound, C 6 H 18 N 2 2+ ·2H 2 AsO 4 − , contains a network of doubly protonated centrosymmetric hexane‐1,6‐diammonium cations and dihydrogenarsenate anions. These species inter­act by way of cation‐to‐anion N—H⋯O and anion‐to‐anion O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, the latter leading to infinite sheets of the H 2 AsO 4 − anions.
