The title compound, 4CH 6 N 3 + ·C 8 H 6 O 8 4− , forms a hydrogen‐bonded network, in which each O atom is an acceptor for three hydrogen bonds and each guadinium H atom contributes to a single hydrogen bond. The complete anion is generated by inversion symmetry.
