The monomeric title compound, [Ni(C 6 H 14 O 2 PS 2 ) 2 (C 10 H 8 N 2 )], has the Ni atom within a distorted octahedral cis ‐N 2 S 4 geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by C—H⋯S interactions, leading to the formation of a linear chain.
