The title compound, [Cu 2 Cl 2 (C 15 H 17 N 3 O 2 ) 2 ](ClO 4 ) 2 ·H 2 O, contains dichloro‐bridged Cu II complexes located on centres of inversion. The solvent water molecule lies on a twofold rotation axis and forms hydrogen bonds to two perchlorate anions.
