The title compound, C 12 H 14 O 3 S 2 , is composed of two thiophene rings bridged by an –O(CH 2 ) 2 O(CH 2 ) 2 O– chain. The molecule is U‐shaped, with the two thiophene rings inclined to one another by 83.21 (10)°. In the crystal structure, the molecules are bridged by C—H⋯S and C—H⋯·O hydrogen bonds, forming a double‐stranded polymer chain.
