In the title complex, [Au(C 26 H 48 P 2 ) 2 ]Cl·4CHCl 3 , the cation and anion lie on twofold rotation axes. The Au atom has a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry, with two chelating diphosphine ligands, and lies far from the anion.
