The structure of the title compound, C 25 H 24 O 2 , has been determined as part of an ongoing investigation into the biological activity of compounds based on the β‐tetralone core. The conformational structure of (I) is stabilized by C—H⋯π interactions between the aliphatic ring H atoms and the π‐electron systems of the benzyl subunits.
