In some recent plant analyses difficulty was encountered in obtaining consistent results for? copper. The cause of this inconsistency was found to be associated with the method used for ashing the plant material. This paper contains the results of an experiment to ascertain the effect of different ashing procedures for the determination of copper in tomato and alfalfa plant materials. Ashing procedure
