In this paper, and in one to follow it, data will be presented to show that light-mass absorption occurs during photosynthesis. The present paper submits the experimental evidence obtained relative to error, to surface phenomena due to atmospheric conditions during weighing operations, and to the question of C02-leakage through glass containers as possible explanations of the weight data.
