The authors have studied correlations between two pi /sup 0/s produced at the CERN intersecting storage rings, utilizing detectors with large azimuthal acceptance. It is found that the previously observed enhancement of two pi /sup 0/s produced at azimuthal difference near 180 degrees can be made to vanish when certain kinematic effects are removed. However, it is observed that aligned configurations above 8 GeV of transverse energy are unexplained by such kinematic effects. (9 refs)
