New and surprising singularities are found in the forward scattering amplitude for non-relativistic potential scattering with coupled channels. In the simplest case of two coupled channels, these singularities appear when the energy dierence between the two channels is larger than the inverse range of the potential. They are similar to singularities recently discovered by one of us for potential scattering on R 3 S 1 .
