[[abstract]]The authors study the pattern of light neutrino masses in a model of Fritzsch-type quarks and lepton mass matrices endowed with a global horizontal Peccei-Quinn symmetry. The model places the masses of (νe,νμ,ντ) to be in the range (10-7,10-4,10) eV and (10-2,10,106) eV for stable and unstable ντ cases, respectively[[fileno]]2010129010013[[department]]物理
