Transition amplitudes between states with spin < or =1 are considered and directly evaluated in terms of momenta and polarization vectors. A special algorithm is derived to reduce expressions where ..gamma.. matrices of different lines are saturated. The application of the method is illustrated for radiative and nonradiative processes, including mass effects.
