The constituent-interchange model is found to give a reasonable overall fit to both the high-p/sub T/ inclusive single-particle spectra and angular multiplicity correlations in pp interactions measured at FNAL and the CERN ISR. There are discrepancies in detail, notably with simple counting-rule predictions of energy dependences, and with the origin of the observed suppression of diagrams that should be significant.
