A natural and selfconsistent method is given in the context of the ladder approximation of the Bethe-Salpeter equation for the construction of gauge invariant models for two-body scattering involving photons. The vertices in these models are assumed to have structure and to be described by Bethe-Salpeter equations. As examples, models for the following reactions are given: IL yN yN, yN TON, 6 YT -y?r, ynp X. (Submitted to Phys. Rev. ) *Work supported in part by the U. S.
