The last Summer I was present with Dr. George Volcamer, (a person very skilful in physick and chymistry, and much versed in mathematical knowledge and experiments) while he was making some observations and tryals, with his magnetical needle, to find whether it had varied from what it was heretofore, and what was the present true variation.
