First Report of Tomato Wilt Caused by Ralstonia solanacearum Biovar 1 in Puerto Rico

Bacterial wilt affected tomatoes in Coamo, Aguada and Lares, Puerto Rico. The characterization of the causal agent was conducted with serological and molecular tests. Kock's postulates confirmed that the disease was produced by Ralstonia solanaceraum biovar 1.
