Compliance with Best Management Practices for harvested sites has been surveyed three times in South Carolina. Overall BMP compliance was 84.5% in the baseline survey in 1990, 84.7% in 1991, and 89.5% in 1994. Until this project, no survey has documented BMP compliance for site preparation activities. This baseline study was designed to determine the level of compliance with site preparation BMPs in South Carolina.
