We have examined the diversity and similarity of visible dust bands and infrared dust bands based on data obtained by our ground-based observations (Ishiguro et al. 1999, ApJ 511, 432) and by the Infrared Astronomy Satellite (IRAS). It is found that the latitude profile of visible dust bands at the solar elongation, λ - λ⊙ = 89°, is similar to that of infrared dust bands, except for the appearance...
