Information on clonal lineages and genetic platforms involved in the mobilization of carbapenemases between Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains in Portugal is scarce. Here, we outline the genetic drivers contributing to the occurrence of blaVIM-2-producing P. aeruginosa over two decades.
