The efflux inhibitor 1-(1-naphthylmethyl)-piperazine (NMP) has been demonstrated to reverse multidrug resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii. We investigated the interaction of NMP with tigecycline and three other tetracyclines on clinical isolates of A. baumannii.
