Presumed or proven invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is an important cause of infectious morbidity in patients with acute leukaemia. Although prior IPA is not a contraindication for subsequent allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), its management during granulocytopenia and immunosuppression remains challenging.
