A management protocol for specialist nurses was developed for ambulatory management of uncomplicated cellulitis requiring initial intravenous (i.v.) antibiotic therapy. Patients were all managed through an outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT) service. Those with cellulitis were compared pre- and post-intervention.
