Antibiotic stewardship is absolutely crucial in the fight to control antimicrobial resistance. Everyone has a part to play. Grassroots action is essential; it is no good sitting back and waiting for world leaders to solve this problem. In this article I outline some of the challenges and the steps that everyone can take to do their part in tackling the slow-moving crisis of AMR.
