A 4-year-old orchard of Nectared, Ruby Grande, Harko nectarines and Early Redhaven and Elberta peaches was used in this test. Replicated four-tree blocks of each variety were used for both treatments and the check. Treatments were applied on 31 Mar. All plots were sprayed to the point of drip (400 to 500 gal/acre) with handguns at 400 to 500 lb/in2 . Evaluation was made by counting number of colonies for green peach aphid and the number of wilted terminals per tree for the peach twig borer.
