Nine insecticide treatments were tested for efficacy against ants at a golf course near Garden City, Kans. Granular insecticides were applied by shaking a pre-measured amount oE insecticide from a paper sack. Liquid insecticides were applied in 12.8 liters of water per plot using a sprinkling can.
