'Southern Comet' broccoli was transplanted Jun 18 at the Rosemount Agricultural Experiment Station, Rosemount, MN. Plants were spaced 12-inches within row, 40-inches between rows. Plots were single row, 25-ft long, arranged in a randomized complete block with 3 replications. Applications were made Aug 6 or Jul 30 using a CO2 compressed air sprayer delivering 20 gal/acre at 25 psi . Evaluations were made Aug 13 by counting all larvae found in a 5-^head sample collected from each plot.
