Four insecticides were evaluated for phytotoxicity on English Yew, Taxus baccata and Blue Spruce, Picea pungens at the University of New Hampshire Horticultural Farm in Durham, NH. Plants were sparyed on Sep 4 & 8 at rates of O.5, IX (recommended rates), 2X and 4X using a CO2 compression sprayer at 40 psi. Each experimental rate was applied to 4 single plant replicates, to the point of runoff. The ornamentals were examined 3, 4, 7, 14, 20, and 27 days after application.
