Experimental insecticide treatments were applied to mature semi-dwarf York trees on May 13, Jun 3, Jun 13, Jun 28, Jul 14, Aug 10 and Aug 31. Cymbush treatments were not started until Jun 13. Treatments were applied with a handgun operating at 400 psi. Single tree treatments were replicated 4 times in a randomized block design. Trees were sprayed to runoff. Mites were sampled by randomly selecting 10 leaves around each tree and counting motile mites with a hand lens.
