Tests were conducted on mature apple trees using single tree plots replicated 4 times in a completely randomized design. The Lannate and Vydate plots were treated on Apr 21 using an airblast sprayer, and the Diazlnon and SN-72129 plots were treated on Apr 23. All trees had a heavy RAA infestation at the time of treatment. Control of RAA was evaluated on May 19 by examining 100 infested terminals on each tree to determine if the colony was alive. Control of PC, CM, and GF was evaluated on Jun 4 by harvesting ca 3/4 bushel of fruit from each tree as well as picking up all fallen fruit. All fruit was evaluated for insect damage by visual examination.
