Late 3rd and early 4th instars of A. vexans and A. trivittatus were reared from egg obtained from field-collected adult females. Four treatments of 2 experimental B.t. formulations were applied to sod-lined wading pools containing 100 liters of tapwater using a 1 liter handsprayer. Pools were arranged in a split-plot design with 2 and 3 replicates performed Aug 22 and Sep 19, respectively. Mortality counts were taken 24 h post-treatment.
