Test plants were grown in 50% Metro mix 300: 50% peat moss media in 15 cm pots, 3 plants/pot, on raised greenhouse benches. Each treatment block consisted of 1 pot- treatments were randomized, and were replicated 3 times. Foliar sprays were applied to the point of run-off at 5.9 kg/cm2 on Jan 15 at a greenhouse temperature of 30°C. Treatments were evaluated before application and 4, 7, 11, and 14 days following application by removing a leaf from each plant and counting the number of mites and eggs on the lower surface of the leaves.
