To insure adequate brown planthopper populations a resurgence inducing insecticide at 12.5 g ai/ha was applied to all plots at 20, 34, and 48 days after transplanting (DAT). Insecticides were applied at the rate of 0.75 kg ai/Tia In a spray volume of 300 1/ha at 83 DAT. Effectiveness of the insecticides was based on the % reduction in brown planthopper after spraying. Three coded compound.
