'Superior' Irish potatoes were planted Apr 20 in 3-row plots 20-ft long in Lyles fine sandy loam soil. Plots were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. Treatments were applied on Jun 5, 13, 19 and 25; Jul 3 and 10 except that aldicarb was applied as a side-dress application on May 1 and immediately turned under. Sprays were applied with a 3 row, tractor mounted boom sprayer operating at 60 psi and delivering 37 gal/acre with 3 nozzles/row.
