'Green Pak' cabbage was transplanted on May 18 with 10-inch spacing using a mechanical transplanter. Each treatment was replicated 4 times in a completely randomized block design. Twenty foot rows were buffered on both sides with broccoli plants at the same spacing. A 3 row, tractor mounted boom operating at 60 psi, delivering 37 gal of H2O/acre, and with 3 nozzles/row was used to apply the materials on Jun 13, 19 and 25; Jul 3, 10 and 17. Effectiveness of the treatments was assessed by counting numbers of cabbage looper larvae on 5 plants/replication every 7-10 days.
