Plants were selected on the basis of past damage. There were four single-plant repli-cates per treatment in a completely randomized design. Treatment dates were May 25 and June 7l77. Selected treatments were applied in a new trial on Apr 24'78 when nymphs were present. The treatments were evaluated by counting the number of live nymphs on 40 branch tips per replicate. Evaluation date for the first trial was April 14'78 and for the second trial May 4'78.
