Granular formulations of Counter 15G and Mocap 10G, and liquid Mocap were compared in Clay County, Nebraska. Granular insecticides were applied in a 7 in (17.5 cm) band over the row. Liquid insecticides were applied broadcast within 2 hr after planting. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block with 4 replications. Each plot was 4 rows wide and 38.5 ft × 30 in centers. The 2 center rows were used for data collection. The experiment was planted on May 15, stand counts made on July 11, roots dug for evaluation on July 23, and plots harvested on October 17. The experiment was irrigated. Data was subjected to analysis of variance and means separated by Duncan's Multiple Range Test where appropriate.
