Treatments were replicated 4 times, in 3-row, 30 ft. long plots in a randomized complete block design. Transplants were set out on Jun 3. Sprays were applied using a 2-gal, CO2-pressurized sprayer at 38 psi in 1 gal water per treatment (= 40 gal/acre). Granular materials were applied by hand with a small shaker in a furrow ca. 2 in. deep and 4 in. out from plant on one side of the rows. Mixed red and green, commercial size peppers were sampled for “worm” infestations on Aug 24 and Sept 14 from the middle row of each plot. One hundred leaves (25/plot) were randomly sampled each week for Green peach aphid counts.
