Each treatment was applied in 7 gal of water/acre to 100 x 400 ft plots of green peas by aerial application on Jun 16‘78. There were 3 replications in a completely randomized design. The peas were being grown for processing near Walla Walla, WA and were 75 to 90% defoliated at the time of treatment. This pretreatment population averaged about 1.5/sweep in a 600 sweep sampling of the area on Jun 15‘78. The efficacy of the treatments was evaluated by taking 5 groups of 10 sweeps each along the flight path in each plot 72 h after the application.
