Funks G80 planted Jun 28 ’78, University of Georgia Experiment Station, Oconee Co. Soil type was Appling sandy loam. Randomized complete block experimental design with 2 row plots x 20-ft long x 38-inch row width x 2-ft alleys; 5 replicates. The sprays were applied on Aug 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24. Two treatments, Z 3210 and Z 3209, were applied on a 4 day schedule on Aug 10, 14, 18, and 22. All ears in the center 18 foot of row were examined on Aug 28 for the presence of corn earworm or fall armyworm larvae and damage.
