Funks G80 planted Apr 28, 1978, University of Georgia Experiment Station, Oconee Co. Soil type was Applying sandy loam. Randomized complete block experimental design with 2 row plots x 20 ft long x 38-inch row width x 2-ft alleys; 5 replicates. Plants treated with a full cone spray using an air pressure sprayer at 30 psi in a final volume of 50 gal/A directed on the plant ears. The sprays were applied on Jun 27, 29, and on Jul 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13. All ears in the center 18 ft of row were examined on Jul 17 for the presence of corn earworm larvae or damage.
