The experiment was conducted on mature ‘Success’ pecan trees ta Shelby, Mississippi. Seven experimentol treatments and an untreated check were tested in 10-tree plots replicated twice in a completely random design. Applications were timed to accord with phylloxera emergence and bud development. On Mar 31 and Apr 12 each tree received ca. 12 gal of spray applied with a John Bean 757 sprayer. On May 12 the number of galls on a total of 30 terminals randomly collected from each plot was counted.
