‘California Wonder’ peppers were transplanted on May 3, 1976, near Dunn, North Carolina. Plots consisted of paired rows, 200 ft long, and were replicated 3 times. A series of Furadan 10G split applications (20 + 30 lb) were made using a Demco applicator mounted on a row buster. On August 14, counts were made for European corn borer, corn earworm, and tobacco hornworm.
