One 198 kg steer was fed Dursban 10 CR granules in its daily diet for 3 days. Twenty-four hours after the last feeding, three 100-g fecal samples were collected and each bioassayed with 25 face fly larvae. A higher dosage was fed weekly until a 100% face fly mortality was obtained. Feces from a steer on the same diet with-out the Dursban was used for untreated checks.
