Cutworm Control on Dichondra Turf, California, 1977

Insecticides were tested for the control of granulate cutworm on dichondra in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. In Los Angeles County commercially available materials had not been effective in the control of this pest while in Orange County good control was still obtained. Each treatment was applied on 9 m , in randomized blocks, and replicated 4 times in Orange County not in area 1 and 2 times in area 2 in Los Angeles County. In Los Angeles County some of the treatments had to be terminated prematurely because of extensive cutworm damage.
