Plots were planted with seed-lings (1 plant/ft) June 15, 1977, in Rockdale soil. Each plot was a single, 15-ft-long row on a 6-ft center. There were 4 replications per treatment in a completely random design. Treatments were applied weekly from June 17 to July 29 with a tractor-mounted sprayer with 5 nozzles per row. They were applied at a pressure of 250 psi in 100 gal water/A. Chevron Spray Sticker was used with all treatments at the rate of 0.5 pt/100 gal. On August 3 the number of live K. lycoperscella larvae per leaf of 10 randomly selected leaves (fourth fully expanded leaf from terminal) per plot were counted. The pinworm population was smaller than normal. Duncan’s Multiple Range Test was used to separate treatment means.
