Five-day old seedlings were set January 3, 1976 into Speedling styrofoam trays (128 3.8 cm square inverted pyramid holes/tray), filled with a 1:1 peat moss and vermiculite (50% coarse and 50% fine) media mix. Individual trays were considered plots and arranged in four replications in a randomized complete block design in a greenhouse with open ends. Insecticides were applied January 27, February 2, 11, 18, 15, March 3 and 10. On March 12 the number of plants damaged by the tomato pinworm, the number of tomato pinworm larvae, the number of total and active (those with a living larva present) leafmines and the number of plants damaged by the insecticide sprays were counted on 50 plants/tray.
