The materials tested were applied using a hand sprayer equipped with a CO2 cylinder fitted with a nozzle (*8004) operated at 60 gal/A and 30 psi covering 1 bed. Each plot was 14 ft long by 1 bed (eO inch) and replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. The rates of application are described in the table which shows the comparative effectiveness of the insecticides used in this test.
