All materials tested were applied using a hand sprayer equippee with a compressed CO2 cylinder fitted with 2 nozzles ('8002) operated at 60 gal/A and 30 psi covering 1 bed. Each plot was 2 beds wide (40 inch bed spacing), 50 ft long and replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. The rates of application are described in the tabl which shows the comparative effectiveness of the insecticides used in this test.
